The Cula Platform supports collaboration between team members, auditors, and suppliers. Adding users allows for delegated task management and oversight across internal and external roles.
Adding a User

Navigate to the Users Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/org/users (Cula Production environment) / https://demo.app.cula.earth/org/users (Cula Demo environment), or go the Organization view and select Users in the left navigation bar.
To get to the Organization view from the Site view, click the arrow in the top left to return to the Organization view). -
Initiate User Creation: Click on + Add User at the top right corner.

Enter User Details: Provide the User's Name (first name) and Surname (last name)

Set Email/Identifier:
a) If the User has an email address, select Email under Identifier (default) and provide the user's Email Address:
b) If the User has no email address, select User ID under Identifier and provide a User Identifier (e.g. name-surname, phone number, employee number): -
Grant Organization Access:

Send Invite:
a) For users identified by email address, click on Add User and Send Invite Link. An email with instructions to set the initial password will be sent automatically from accounts@cula.earth with subject "Invitation to join Cula".
b) For users without an email address, click on Add User and Copy Invite Link. Share the invitation link with the user via a messenger app, SMS, chat, etc.
Security Note: Administrators should never open invitation links or set passwords on behalf of users.
Note: The invite link is only valid for 96 hours and can only be used once to set the password. If the link expired, users with the Organization Access' "Users" permission can generate a new link and share it again. For more details, see Troubleshooting Expired Invite Links below.
Troubleshooting Expired Invite Links
Invite links expire after 96 hours as well as after the first usage of setting the password.
Effect for New Users
- If the invite link expired, the user sees this notification:
- The user will need to contact their Cula account administrator to generate a new link.
Remediation for Administrators
- Navigate to the Users page and find the user who needs a new invite link.
- a) Select the affected User and click Resend Invite to trigger a new invitation to be sent via email.
b) For users without email addresses, copy the Invitation Link and send it to the affected user e.g. via a messenger app or SMS.
Note that the invite will expire after 96 hours. It is recommended to inform users to set their password promptly after receiving the email or invitation link.
