Creating a Machine Data Dashboard

The Cula Platform allows to analyse machine data from carbon removal activities. Machine data can act as supporting evidence during audits, provide deep insights for troubleshooting operational issues, or general operational insights.

Creating a Machine Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Machine Analytics Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/site/analytics or click on Machine Analytics on the left navigation bar.
  2. a) Create First Machine Dashboard: Provide a name and click on Create.

    b) Create Further Machine Dashboards: Move the mouse cursor to the top of the page until the + icon appears and click it. Provide a name and click on Create.

 

Creating a Widget

  1. Navigate to the Machine Analytics Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/site/analytics or click on Machine Analytics on the left navigation bar.
     
  2. Select Existing Machine Data Dashboard: Select an Existing Machine Data Dashboard from the top of the page. If no dashboards exist, follow above Creating a Machine Dashboard instructions.
     
  3. Create Machine Data Widget: Click on + Add Widget at the top right corner, or + Create Widget in the center, if this is the first widget of the  Machine Data Dashboard

  4. Provide Name and Add Metrics: Provide a name for the widget and click on + Add Metric to select one or more Machine Data Points to be displayed. Optionally change the color or order of the selected metrics, change the axis titles and minimum and maximum range, or display X / Y axis gridlines.

  5. Save Changes: Click Save to add the widget to the machine data dashboard.
     
  6. Resize and Reposition the Widget: Optionally move the mouse cursor to the bottom left or right of the widget to resize it, or move the mouse cursor e.g. to the title of the widget and drag and drop it to the desired location.
     

Editing a Widget

  1. Navigate to the Machine Analytics Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/site/analytics or click on Machine Analytics on the left navigation bar.
     
  2. Select Existing Machine Data Dashboard: Select an Existing Machine Data Dashboard from the top of the page.
     
  3. Open Widget Settings: Move the mouse cursor over the widget and click on the Pencil icon on the top right.
     
  4. Change Name and Metrics: Change the name of the widget and click on + Add Metric to select one or more Machine Data Points to be displayed. Click on the Trash Bin icon to remove a metric from the widget. Optionally change the color or order of the selected metrics, change the axis titles and minimum and maximum range, or display X / Y axis gridlines.
     
  5. Save Changes: Click Save to save the changes to the widget.
     

Deleting a Widget

  1. Navigate to the Machine Analytics Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/site/analytics or click on Machine Analytics on the left navigation bar.
     
  2. Select Existing Machine Data Dashboard: Select an Existing Machine Data Dashboard from the top of the page.
     
  3. Delete the Widget: Move the mouse cursor over the widget and click on the Trash Bin icon on the top right.
