The Cula Platform can reflect physical process steps. Accurate tracking of processes ensures traceability of material products and supports reporting requirements.
Recording a Material Processing Step

Navigate to the Material Processing Module: Go to https://app.cula.earth/site/multi-biochar-processing or click on Material Processing on the left navigation bar.

Initiate Material Processing Step: Click on + Material Processing at the top right corner, followed by + Mixing. Note: This step depends on each customer's Cula configuration and will look different than the screenshot below. Your Material Processing step may not be + Mixing.

Input Processing Step Record Information: Click on the Record ID and Date and Time to accurately record when the Processing Step took place.

Select Material Processing Step Input:
- When mixing with bags of biochar, select Select in Inventory:

Select Biochar for Mixing: In the inventory, select the relevant Biochar record used in mixing. Select Mixing followed by the relevant Mixing Record

- When mixing with bags of biochar, select Select in Inventory:
- If the biochar is taken from the pile, select Take from Pile.

Extract Materials from Pile: Complete all required fields. Note: The required and optional fields depend on each customer's Cula configuration and will look different than the screenshot below.
- Once complete, select Save to register the input

Select Additional Material: Choose the material type, input and weight. Note: If you are not adding any additional materials, you may skip this step.
- Select Material Processing Step Output:
- If the Output will be placed in a Pile: Select Multi Processing Loose Output

Enter Output Information: Complete the information required. Selecting Use All will automatically distribute the content based on its Input and Additional Materials.

If the Output will be placed in Containers: Select Multi Processing Trackable Output

Enter Output Information: Complete the information required.
- For Output Container quantities above 1 with equal weight, selecting Split Evenly will automatically distribute the content based on its Input and Additional Materials across the number of Containers.
- For Output Containers with different weights, create an Output record with the weight, and content split for each individual container. Ensure that the total Output meets 100%
- For Output Container quantities above 1 with equal weight, selecting Split Evenly will automatically distribute the content based on its Input and Additional Materials across the number of Containers.

Enter Output Information: Complete the information required.

Add Attachments: Click on the paper clip icon with the label Upload File in the bottom right, select the images or documents from your computer.

Confirm Mixed Material Production: Click Finish to register the new product in the inventory or Save to return to this record to make changes. Note: To cancel this action, click on the Delete icon.
