KPI Dashboards track operational metrics within the Cula Platform. Configurable metrics, dimension filters, and customizable widgets support data visualization and collaborative site monitoring. To create a KPI Dashboard, KPIs must first be created.
Creating a KPI
Open KPI Configuration
Select Show KPIs on the top right hand corner to display the All KPIs panel. On the ALL KPIs panel, select + Create KPI.

In the Metrics section, select + to open the metric selector. Choose the required metric to track.

| Wet amount output (kg) | The wet amount of material resulting from an event (biomass, pyrolysis, or repackaging). |
| Dry amount input (kg) | The dry amount of material consumed by an event (pyrolysis, repackaging, or material application). |
| Dry amount received (kg) | The dry amount of material received by an incoming delivery. |
| Unit count input | The number of units consumed by an event (pyrolysis, repackaging, or material application). |
| Unit count output | The number of units resulting from an event (biomass, pyrolysis, or repackaging). |
| Unit count sent | The number of units sent by an outgoing delivery. |
| Unit count received | The number of units received by an incoming delivery. |
Apply Dimension Filters
Select the filter icon (▽) next to Material Filter, Container Type Filter, or Processing Type Filter to restrict data parameters. Leaving a filter unselected includes all values.
Save the KPI
Select Confirm after choosing the relevant filters
The configured metric will be displayed in the All KPIs panel.
Configuring a Dashboard
Access the KPI Module
In the left navigation sidebar, select the KPI icon (↗). If no dashboard exists, an empty state displays with a Dashboard Name input field and a Create button.
Enter a Dashboard Name
Enter a descriptive name into the Dashboard Name field (e.g., Operations Q3). The Create button activates once a name is provided.
Note: Newly created KPI dashboards are private by default. Access can be granted to other site users via the share settings.
Confirm Creation
Select Create to initialize the dashboard. The dashboard opens and the Create your first widget dialog appears automatically.
Adding and Managing Widgets
Add a Widget
Select + Create Widget on an empty canvas, or select + Add Widget in the top toolbar.
Name the widget
The Configure Widget dialog opens with a default name. Update the Name field — the widget name is shown as a label on the dashboard card.
Assign a KPI
Click + Add KPI. A search field appears listing all your created KPIs. Click the KPI you want this widget to display.
Choose a visualization: Under Visualization, select how the data should be displayed.
Absolute Number Displays the total aggregated value for the selected time period as a single numerical figure. Toggle Show unrounded value to display exact decimal figures. Cumulative Line Chart Displays data as vertical bars across discrete time intervals, allowing for comparisons across specific sub-periods within the selected timeframe. Bar Chart Displays a continuous line graph showing the step-by-step accumulation of the metric over time, illustrating growth or net totals up to the end of the selected period. Adjust Card Layout
Drag the resize handle in either bottom corners of a card to change its size. Hover over a card to access the edit (pencil) or delete (trash) icons.
